Job Description

As a therapist with Will Therapy Services, all of your referrals and intakes will be taken care of for you. Your role is to: provide high quality, clinical services, clinical record keeping, update client files as needed, booking client sessions (after the initial session) and receiving payment for sessions, as well as providing any necessary information related to the client's file to the administrative staff hired to carry out such roles. All other administrative duties will be carried out by administrative staff.Hours of Work: 5-15 hours per week to start (1-3 days) with the possible opportunity to increase to full-time hours (20+); must be willing to work some evenings and/or weekends (minimum 2 evenings/weekend days in full-time role)Qualifications: Masters Degree in Counselling (Counselling Psychology, MSW) Registration with the College of Psychotherapists or College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers of Ontario Must be trained (or willing to train) in Trauma Specific Therapy (i.e., Brainspotting preferred, EMDR accepted) 2+ years of therapy experience preferred Experience working with children and teens is a strong asset Post-graduate training in CBT, DBT, Gottman Method, EFT or experience working with couples an asset Must provide own personal liability insurance Police and vulnerable sector check required for employment One year contract required for employmentBenefits: Competitive Pay: Qualifying Status - $40 to $60 per hour, inclusive of supervision); Fully Autonomous Practice - $65-$85 per hour (wages currently under review) Comprehensive Benefit Package for full-time staff (20 or more hours per week), including vision, dental, life and dependent life insurance, and paramedical services EAP provided for full-time staff Monthly peer supervision meetings and opportunities to connect with team members Training opportunities provided Supervision available Administrative support including all referrals and intakes Flexible work schedule with combination of in person and online All costs associated with private practice are covered including: Marketing and Advertising, Practice Management Software, Fully Furnished and Inviting Therapy Space, Internet, Fully Stocked Cafe for both client and therapist use, Office Supplies, Use of Shared Resources HST collecting, filing and remittance completed by Practice Owner (required for Psychotherapists only)Start Date: ASAP for a minimum of one yearJob Type: Part-time
