Job Summary

Brainova Health Clinic is a boutique wellness clinic located in Toronto's Summerhill neighbourhood. Our interdisciplinary team includes psychotherapy, psychological assessment, dietetics, massage therapy, acupuncture, and naturopathic medicine. We offer evidence-based, client-centred care within a collaborative model.

We are currently seeking a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) with specialized experience working with children and adolescents to provide individual therapy. This is a hybrid position, offering secure virtual care and in-person sessions at our Summerhill location based on clinician availability.

Responsibilities

Provide individual psychotherapy for children and adolescents using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, play therapy, DBT skills, family systems, trauma-informed care). Conduct comprehensive intakes with caregivers and young clients, creating individualized treatment plans with clear goals. Support families in understanding and implementing strategies that support their child's treatment goals. Track and review progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Offer support in managing school-related issues, emotional regulation, anxiety, behavioural concerns, and family dynamics. Provide crisis support and safety planning as appropriate, including escalation or referral when necessary. Maintain accurate, confidential records in Jane (intakes, treatment plans, progress notes) in compliance with CRPO or OCSWSSW standards and PHIPA privacy laws.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or related field (required) Registration in good standing with CRPO (RP) or OCSWSSW (RSW authorized for psychotherapy) Clinical experience working with children and adolescents Familiarity with child-centred and developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches Professional liability insurance Comfortable operating as an independent contractor Experience with Jane for charting and telehealth is an asset Bilingualism or experience with diverse populations is an asset

Pay: $140.00 per hour
