We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist with background in ABA Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral therapy services to children with developmental and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and also able to deliver behaviour therapy , with ability to create a supportive and engaging environment for clients. Responsibilities
Implement individualized ABA therapy sessions tailored to each child's needs, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
Deliver behaviour therapy as Registered Psychotherapist
Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and treatment effectiveness accurately and consistently.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
Engage children in therapeutic activities that promote skill development across communication, socialization, and daily living skills.
Monitor client responses to interventions and adjust strategies as necessary under supervision.
Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies.
Educate families and caregivers on behavior management strategies and progress updates to support generalization of skills at home.
Experience
Prior experience working with children in clinical, educational, or healthcare settings is highly desirable.
Experience in pediatric care provides valuable insight into medical terminology and patient care protocols.
Familiarity with research methodologies related to pediatrics or special education enhances understanding of evidence-based practices.
Knowledge of case management processes ensures effective coordination of services for clients with complex needs.
Skills in data collection are essential for tracking behavioral progress and informing treatment adjustments.
Background in special education or related fields is advantageous for developing appropriate intervention strategies. This position is ideal for individuals committed to improving the lives of children through compassionate care, structured interventions, and collaborative teamwork.
