Registered Psychologist
orRegistered Provisional Psychologist
to join our team.Position Overview
The Registered Psychologist will provide psychological therapy services to clients across various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. Experience or training in
play therapy
andindividual therapy
is strongly preferred. This role requires availability for evening and weekend shifts, with additional flexibility based on the candidate's availability and organizational needs.Key Responsibilities
Provide
play therapy
,individual therapy
, using evidence-based practices. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to clients' needs and goals. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Stay current with the latest research and best practices in psychology. Participate in professional development activities to ensure ongoing competency.Qualifications
Valid and current registration with the
College of Alberta Psychologists
. Proven experience in providing therapeutic services, includingplay therapy
andindividual therapy
. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to worktwo weekend shifts per month
