Responsibilities:
ensure onsite safety of clients around horses and other animals
Create individualized treatment plans and track client progress
Maintain appropriate documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines
Participate in monthly in person case consultation
Deliver therapy both virtually and in-person as needed
Qualifications:
Registered as an
R. Psych
in good standing with the
College of Alberta Psychologists
Foundational knowledge and experience with a desire to move into a specialized area of practice
Strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills
Highly motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team culture
Comfortable working in a rural/nature-based environment
Assets (Preferred but Not Required):
Experience or training working with horses
Interest in nature-based and walk-and-talk therapy
Private practice or multidisciplinary experience
