ABOUT THE ROLE
As a psychologist at ActiveCare, you will play a key role in helping individuals navigate personal challenges and build meaningful change. You'll work alongside a dynamic team of physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other allied health professionals -- all aligned in delivering patient-first care.
We offer mentorship, supervision (if required), regular referrals, administrative support, and a warm professional setting where you can truly focus on your clients.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions and help clients establish and achieve their mental wellness goals
Create immediate and long-term treatment plans using evidence-based approaches
Maintain clinical records in accordance with CAP and clinic standards
Collaborate with our in-house care team to provide a holistic patient experience
Participate in supervision (for provisional psychologists) and professional development
Provide in-person sessions at our Chestermere clinic
Flexibly manage your schedule to meet client and clinic needs (evenings and/or weekends may be required)
WHO YOU ARE
A
Registered or Provisional Psychologist
in good standing with the
College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)
Hold a Master's Degree or PhD in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field
Experienced or interested in modalities such as
CBT, ACT, EMDR, EFT, IFS, Gottman, or TEAM-CBT
Empathetic, professional, and approachable with strong communication skills
Committed to confidentiality, ethics, and client-centered care
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team
Open to continued growth and learning opportunities
