Overview

Are you a psychologist who is looking for a collaborative team environment coupled with the freedom to do your work with a sense of freedom and autonomy? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate contract Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing psychotherapy for a range of presenting problems, and preferably possess advanced experience working with trauma (EMDR or IFS training preferred), couples (RLT training preferred), children/adolescents, and/or conducting psychoeducational assessments. We would strongly prefer clinicians who are already fully registered and are used to carrying a caseload of up to five clients per day. Private practice experience is desirable, but not necessary. Qualifications

Graduate degree in Psychology from an accredited institution. Valid registration (CAP) and insurance to practice psychology in Alberta. Five years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Training in one or more specific evidence-based therapies. Experience with assessments and report writing strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team of consultants. Compassionate approach towards patient care.
