About Focus Counselling

Focus Counselling inc. is a well-established counselling clinic that operates locally from Calgary and area. We provide a variety of counselling and psychological services to meet the therapeutic needs of individuals, couples and children in Calgary. Due to high demands, Focus Counselling is expanding and requires the services of an additional clinician.

Responsibilities/Experience

knowledge and skills in multiple modalities of therapy Minimal 1 year experience in private practice is preferrable Being trauma informed and having EMDR or ART training is considered an asset Ability to provide both in-person and online therapy Knowledge and skills to provide couples counselling Experience working with children and adolescents is considered an asset Ability to work independently Considerable knowledge of abnormal and clinical psychology Flexible hours Ability to conduct psychological assessment is considered an asset Excellent time management skills and flexibility to conduct consultations and respond to clients in a timely manner Active registration and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
