What you'll be doing



Develop, implement, review and evaluate resident care plans Provide leadership to personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work Assist in orienting and training new team members Responsible for managing the co-ordination and completion of the Resident Assessment, Resident Assessment Protocols (RAPs) and care plans as assigned. Compiles with the MOH regulations regarding completion of the RAI-MDS process Completes accurate coding of the RAI-MDS and care plan documentation for a resident's Continually updating knowledge based related to data entry and computer technology Chair RAP chat as required Any other duties as assigned

What you bring



Current registration with provincial College of Nurses Compassion, professionalism, and respect Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English What you bring Current registration with provincial College of Nurses and in good standing Experience in LTC, experience with MDS is an asset Current RAI-MDS certification and annual AIS certification is required Must be able to complete confidentiality of information Strong analytical skills, knowledge in trending and analyzing data Strong understanding of Point Click Care and RAI-MDS The ability to complete a care plan from start to finish Must be flexible in hours and work a variety of shifts
