Job Description

We are looking for hard-working, dedicated healthcare professionals, who are interested in being a part of "Team Hygate" and supporting our Residents! We are specifically looking for someone to fill the full-time position as an RPN.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

- Oversee the provision of attendant care services to our Assisted Living Residents, as per their personalized care plan.

- Assist all ASL Residents with various daily activities, such as meals and activation programming, as well as medication administration.

- Provide emergency response support to the entire building

- Supervise PSWs on shift as well as third-party care services to ensure consistent quality of service.

- Act as Nurse on Duty when required, including fire alarm response

- Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate to the Director of Care

- Other tasks as required to maintain the Health and Safety of the Residents

Ideal candidates will have:

A current RPN designation, in good standing Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with e-Mar and other care-based software programs is an asset Good physical health, with the ability to do a highly physical job Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Amazing interpersonal skills, including handling difficult situations Fantastic communication skills, including written and verbal Prior experience in a similar working environment is a plus A desire to be part of an incredible team!
