Responsibilities:
- Educate patients about health conditions
-Document patient care in medical record according to clinic policy and standards of care
- Review laboratory results and consult with physician when needed
- Provide direct patient care
- IM and subcutaneous injections, performs EKG's
- Processing urine samples
- Vital signs
- OHIP Billing
- Answering phones
- Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens for testing.
- Assist with case management
- Ordering supplies
- As needed reception coverage
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Proficient in performing various nursing procedures, including phlebotomy.
RPN (preferred) but not required if the candidate has their injection certification and phlebotomy certification completed. Each candidate MUST obtain their own malpractice insurance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 25 - 34 per week
