Oxford Allergy Clinic is seeking an RN or RPN to work 30.00 hours per week.
Duties:
Collect focused medical histories and a list of medications.
Conduct physical examinations.
Monitor and document patients' progress.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment options.
Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses.
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP(C)).
Ability to practice to full competency required.
Successful completion of a Pharmacology course is preferred.
Previous work experience in allergy testing is an asset.
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and alongside the specialist.
Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
Demonstrated computer proficiency with Automated Clinical Systems.
Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional development.
