Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the

RPN

supervises and directs the care given by department staff while assisting our residents in their activities of daily living, providing skilled care in an empathetic and nurturing manner. As our successful candidate, you will be a dynamic, self-motivated nursing professional interested in providing quality-focused care to older adults in a home-like atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents, fostering their dignity and independence Hands-on, clinical nursing care, including medication administration and assisting in the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Supervise and direct the front line PSW team in the provision of daily quality care Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team Maintain accurate documentation of residents' care and progress Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure residents' needs are met Actively participates in ongoing professional development including in-services, seminars, and conferences as directed

Qualifications:

Valid RPN Registration with the Colleges of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Must have comprehensive knowledge of medication administration practices. Experience in geriatric nursing considered an asset. Must be able to work weekends, varied shifts, call-ins, and holidays as assigned. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills and be able to work as part of a team.
