The East Wellington Family Health Team (EWFHT) offers the opportunity to join an innovative, community-based primary health care team serving the Erin and Rockwood area. We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and skilled team player comfortable working within a fast paced, rapidly changing, and dynamic health care environment. We are currently recruiting for:

RPN needed for contract full-time employment Monday to Friday, including mornings, afternoons and evening hours, Saturday clinic coverage rotation Rotation will include working in each office location

The ideal candidate for these positions will have demonstrated experience in:

Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a highly interdependent team, ideally involving health professionals. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Strong Nursing Assessment skills for Primary Care setting Excellent performance of medications administration, including injections and preferred venipuncture skill Exceptional communication (written and oral), decision making and problem solving skills The critical ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency and experience working in a computerized environment. Sound judgment, tact and diplomacy with an emphasis on discretion and confidentiality The flexibility required to work in a rapidly changing environment Broad knowledge of community/primary health care and an appreciation of the requirements of rural health care provision Familiarity with East Wellington and the spectrum of health and social services available Class G Ontario driver's license, access to a car, and the ability and willingness to drive between clinics and, otherwise, as is occasionally necessary In Good Standing with the College of Nurses as a licensed Registered Practical Nurse Proof of up to date Immunization, including COVID vaccine, CPR/AED Level-HCP, N95 mask fit test, police check
