Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in our retirement community. The RPN will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Duties

Deliver comprehensive patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes in medical records. Assist in pain management strategies and provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols. 1 week of on call per month.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to nursing practices. Experience in retirement setting environments is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
