We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team at Muskoka Hills. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care towards residents at our retirement villa. As an RPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting residents' health and well-being through effective nursing practices and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting to the healthcare team. Assist in case management by coordinating care plans and ensuring continuity of care for patients. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options. Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to medical terminology standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospitals and clinics to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Skills

Proficient in medication administration and understanding of medical terminology. Strong background in patient care with experience in pediatrics or acute care settings preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to perform case management tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care. Compassionate approach towards patients with a focus on their emotional and physical well-being. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
