Are you ready to contribute to a healthcare legacy that makes a difference?The Registered Practical Nurse provides a pivotal role within the patient care team and provides care in situations in which the patient\'s condition is stable and the patient care outcomes are predictable. Within the scope of practice, the Registered Practical Nurse promotes health, assesses and provides care and treatment by supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means to attain or maintain optimal function for the patient.QUALIFICIATIONSThe ideal candidate will possess the following key competencies, record of experience and academic preparation:

• Registered Practical Nurse with current registration with College of Nurses in good standing
• Current BCLS
• Competent with current basic RPN scope of practice (Medication Administration, I.V. infusion, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
• Current experience in assisting with endoscopy procedures
• Coronary Care course (college level) - or completion within six months of hire
• Patient Assessment course completion
• Current ACLS
• 2 years\' recent experience in acute care hospital ambulatory care clinic setting
• Demonstrated commitment to professional and personal growth
• Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history

HOURS OF WORKPermanent Part Time. Must be available to work 8 and 12 hour day shifts. As a part time individual you may be scheduled up to 24 hours per week.
