REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE (25-0000560)
Bargaining Unit: UNIFOR-HOSPITAL
Status: Permanent Part Time
Site: Sister Margaret Smith Centre
Shifts: Days and Nights including weekends
Rate of Pay: $35.505 - $38.163 per hour
Qualifications:
Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses Current CPR Recent physical assessment and pharmacology courses Demonstrated knowledge of concurrent disorders Must have 1 to 2 years experience in mental health and addictions Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Demonstrated knowledge and ability to administer CIWA and COWS assessments Demonstrated knowledge of community agencies and pharmacies including Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre Current training in administering Suboxone Demonstrated experience working within a collaborative practice model of care Demonstrated regular attendance at work
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
