Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team in a Long-Term Care (LTC) environment. In this permanent position, the RPN will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.


Key Responsibilities:


Provide direct nursing care and support to residents in accordance with their care plans Administer medications and treatments as ordered Monitor and document residents' conditions, reporting any changes promptly Collaborate with RNs, physicians, PSWs, and allied health professionals Support resident admissions, transfers, and discharges Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Ensure compliance with LTC regulations, infection control practices, and safety standards Participate in ongoing care planning, assessments, and quality initiatives
Job Qualifications:


Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting (LTC experience preferred) Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in long-term care CPR certification (current) Must provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Check * Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per LTC requirements
