Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality resident care and ensuring the well-being of residents at client sites. This position offers opportunities to work in various healthcare settings, including long term care homes, assisted living facilities, and home care.

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse, MD/Nurse Practitioner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems such as Pointclickcare(PCC)
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in LTC settings
- Experience in medication administration and management
- Familiarity with dementia care, wound care, falls prevention and management and use of restraints.

Skills:
- Strong clinical skills and ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Pointclickcare(PCC)

Pay: $31.00-$35.00 per hour
