Bloor Pain Specialists is a rapidly-growing facility for top-tier comprehensive multidisciplinary pain management care. We are currently expanding our team and looking for enthusiastic and professional individuals to fill our Registered Practical Nurse positions.

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) performs a range of basic medical office support activities, such as helping patients fill out forms, rooming patients, and administrative work such as emails and uploading documents.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with patient care and nursing Confirms patient demographics diligently and records patient/procedural information (physician will confirm as well) Required to assist in checking/taking patient vitals (blood pressure, o2 pulse saturation, weight) To facilitate and assist with patient intake and questionnaires and record information onto electronic medical record Contributing to quality assessment and improvements for patient flow and patient's records Assist physicians to prepare for procedures under sterile conditions Assist with monthly quality assurance and inventory counts Required to call patients post-procedure and conduct follow-up assessment Check and ensure that ACLS cart is up to date and there are no expired medication or supplies and report to RN Report to Registered Nurse with any patient care concerns Ensuring daily smooth operational flow of the clinic Must review annually and adhere to all policies and procedures of Bloor Pain Specialists

Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years experience in a medical office Previous work experience in a healthcare setting required Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Will require BLS certificate, ACLS a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service and phone etiquette Must be proficient with Google Suite
