Reporting to the Manager of 9 East Medicine, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning implementation and evaluating nursing care and practice activities in a multidisciplinary family centered care environment. You will be providing care to a diverse population of patients including acute medical and post-acute complex continuing care patients with varying illnesses and co-morbidities. Please note this position is required to work shift work, weekends and holidays. This position also requires staff to work on the surge unit, 8E, including working with a high-acuity respiratory unit (HRU) which is an extension of ICU, population. Staff are trained to work with this population.
