Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in various settings, including assisted living and senior care facilities. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The RPN will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Duties

Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Provide direct nursing care to patients in assisted living and acute care environments. Conduct assessments and document medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information. Assist with pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and wellness practices. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.

Experience

Previous experience in a nursing role within assisted living, senior care, or pediatrics is preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology and laboratory procedures is advantageous. Familiarity with pain management techniques and acute care practices is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members. A valid nursing license as a Registered Practical Nurse is required.
