We are currently seeking an excited, energetic physiotherapist to join our growing multidisciplinary practice. We are an outpatient practice located in the developing Springbrook community of Brampton. While the majority of cases at the clinic are orthopaedic in nature, we have seen some cases that cross into other disciplines as well.
During regular operations we offer physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, osteopathy, chiropractic and acupuncture services. We have access to therapists who have advanced training in vestibular rehab, concussion rehab, neuro rehab, scoliosis and pelvic therapy among other conditions and dysfunctions.
Our focus is in utilizing skilled techniques, education and promoting patient advocacy.
We strive to provide patients with evidence based approaches which provide clinically significant gains as well as carry patients on the path to their goals. As a result we have a growing relationship with our community through patient satisfaction.
The physiotherapy role we currently have available is part time up to full time with approx 20 -30 hours or so per week.
Please note this is listed as a Temporary contract - however, there may be an extension opportunity if not a permanent one.
Additionally, Please note although a salary range was indicate this would be a split fee compensation model which would reflect an hourly equivalent based on the minimum days the job is posted for.
Minimum days required are Wednesday Friday and (Saturday and/or Sunday) - However we are flexible to add other days.
PTA support available at no extra cost to the therapist during the week at this time.
Unfortunately any Resident PTs must have a mentor as we will be unable to provide one at this time.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
Professional, friendly and compassionate patient care
Executing best practice/evidence based services to ensure effective treatment, successful outcomes which meet the goals and best interest of the patient
Working in a team environment with other professionals
Maintaining accurate assessment and treatment notes for every patient visit and/or communication
Maintaining accountability for all other patient documents; progress notes, communication letters, discharge letters
Timely communication with adjusters, adjudicators, case managers, specialists, lawyers as indicated
Qualifications
1-2 years minimum of experience as a licensed physiotherapist in good standing OR a Resident Physiotherapist with Mentor
Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Evidence of relevant continuing education
CPR level C certification from the Canadian Red Cross or St. John's Ambulance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills with the ability to use electronic medical record software
Excellent therapist-patient interpersonal skills
Excellent teamwork skills
Fluency in another language is an asset
