Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries or looking to enhance their physical performance. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Training in Contemporary Acupuncture and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy is an asset. Interdisciplinary care is a major focal point of our practice, and working collaboratively with other allied therapists is essential.

Duties



Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, rehabilitation techniques, and preventive measures. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes. Stay informed about advancements in physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Skills



Proficient understanding of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare teams. Experience in acute care settings, demonstrating the ability to manage complex patient cases. Strong background in patient care with an emphasis on empathy and support for patients' needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high standard of care.

Physiotherapists will be compensated on a percentage commission, mutually agreed upon by the clinic director and Physiotherapist.

Physiotherapists will be provided with a dedicated treatment room for hands-on care with their patient(s), access to electro-therapies, Radial Shockwave, Summus Class 4 Laser, acupuncture needles, and fitness/rehabilitation equipment.

Candidates must be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and hold a license in good standing and carry malpractice insurance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $36.00-$72.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
