Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in acute care settings and pediatrics. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility and improve overall physical function.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote recovery and rehabilitation. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with hospital policies. Stay updated on the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification to practice as a Physiotherapist. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Experience working in an athletic or recreational training environment an asset. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and patient care activities. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes. Experience with pregnancy and women's health an asset Background in strength training, personal training or athletics preferred

Pay: $45.00-$100.00 per hour
