Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care at a private clinic located in west Mississauga. This role involves developing personalized care plans, managing diverse patient needs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and improve quality of life. The Registered Physiotherapist will utilize their expertise in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver evidence-based physiotherapy services tailored to each patient's condition.

We are looking for someone who is looking for a part-time position and is ok with 4-5 hour shifts 2-3 times per week.

Hours can increase slowly as you grow your patient volume.

Responsibilities

Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement different physiotherapy techniques including hands on treatments, exercise therapy as well as various modalities. Keep an accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Educate patients on exercises, mobility strategies, and injury prevention techniques. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment approaches and ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated with current physiotherapy practices and maintain professional development through ongoing education.

Qualifications

Valid registration as a Physiotherapist. Proven experience in acute and chronic care. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and care plan development, including WSIB POCs and MVA treatment plans. Pelvic floor, Concussion, and Vestibular therapy will be a big asset. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced environments.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
