Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting, with a focus on acute care and pediatrics. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, utilizing medical terminology effectively, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care for patients in acute settings. Stay updated on advancements in physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. Relevant hospital experience is preferred, particularly in acute care settings. Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and patient care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. A valid physiotherapy license or registration as required by local regulations.
