Busy, multidisciplinary clinic in west Mississauga looking for a self motivated, professional, and collaborative Physiotherapist to take over an existing patient base from our current physio..
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to start with a part-time position and gradually transition into a full-time if desired.
Our clinic has a 25 year reputation for expert physiotherapy care, with an emphasis on manual therapy and evidence based care.
Our patient base includes private patients with common musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries, WSIB, and a few patients post motor vehicle accidents.
The clinic is well equipped with professional hydraulic treatment tables, IFC machines, Ultrasound, Lasers, and various hydrotherapy and exercise equipment. All equipment safety-certified and calibrated on regular basis.
Competitive pay.
Schedule is pretty flexible but afternoon availability is a must.
Requirements:
Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in good standing Broad knowledge of Physiotherapy theory and practice within a client-centered model of care. AT LEAST 3-5 YEARS OF CANADIAN HAND-ON EXPERIENCE OR A COMPLETION OF AN APPROPRIATE CANADIAN UNIVERSITY PROGRAM Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in good standing. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Basic knowledge of HCAI and the MVA treatment plans. Basic knowledge of WSIB POC programs and treatment protocols. Excellent oral and written English communication skills Demonstrated ability to establish workload priorities in collaboration with others in a complex health care environment.
