Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with expertise in various physiotherapy techniques and a commitment to improving the health and well-being of patients across different demographics. This role involves working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs. Develop personalized care plans that address specific rehabilitation goals. Implement physiotherapy treatments, including but not limited to trigger point therapy, orthopedics, and acute care interventions. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and home care strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Participate in discharge planning for patients transitioning from acute care settings. Stay updated on advancements in physiotherapy practices and contribute to clinical best practices.

Experience

Proven experience in physiotherapy within various settings such as hospitals, clinics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and home & community care. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to patient treatment and rehabilitation. Familiarity with developing care plans that cater to diverse patient populations including those requiring outpatient services. Experience working with EMR systems for documentation and patient management is preferred. A background in providing care for patients with orthopedic conditions or those requiring specialized therapies is advantageous.
