We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Physiotherapist to join us at Walkers Health & Performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute and chronic injuries as well as providing ongoing care and education to help them succeed physically in daily life.
This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for a Physiotherapist who's focus is on providing high-quality rehabilitation care and acute care in various settings including sports, pediatrics and daily professional life.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
Document patient progress accurately in compliance with their college standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Experience
A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution is required.
Physiotherapy Residents
MUST
have a supervisor in place willing to monitor remotely (none can be provided locally)
Previous experience in a clinic/MSK setting is preferred
Familiarity with sports rehab and functional rehabilitation preferred
Acupuncture, McKenzie, FMS, Pelvic Health or other supplementary training preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices is essential.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients' needs
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training (possible supplemental pay for tuition reimbursement can be discussed)
