We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy interventions to enhance patient recovery and improve overall health outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Implement physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and therapeutic exercises.
Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care across acute care, outpatient clinics, and home health settings.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care using EMR systems in compliance with medical terminology standards.
Engage in discharge planning for patients transitioning from inpatient care to home or community settings.
Stay updated on best practices in physiotherapy and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
Valid physiotherapy license or registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and various physiotherapy techniques.
Experience in acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, or outpatient clinic settings is preferred.
Familiarity with home & community care practices is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
