Job Description

Vital Health Pharmacy is an inter-professional, full-service pharmacy and medical IV infusion clinic priding itself with a progressive specialty practice and upbeat team! We are welcoming applications for a pharmacy technician with availability to start in August 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, package, and dispense prescription medications Assess prescriptions for completeness Prepare & settle third party insurance claims and records Receive and transcribe verbal orders from physicians Help with patient, nurse, and on-call physician scheduling for IV infusions Support the pharmacist with any tasks related to the pharmacy Collect and maintain organized record of all pharmacy receivables, ensuring all payable fees are collected in a timely manner Recommend and implement process changes that improve work flow, customer service, and profitability Work as a key team member to ensure exceptional customer service!
Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the College of Pharmacists of BC Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Prior pharmacy experience a must, Kroll experience an asset Patient-centered, caring approach a must!
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
