Registered Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
Assist with routine pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Receive and process prescription refill requests from patients, both in person and via telephone.
Prepare and compound medications according to prescriptions and established guidelines.
Package, label, and distribute medications to patients accurately and efficiently.
Maintain inventory by checking drug supplies, restocking shelves, and tracking medication expiration dates.
Dispose of expired or unused medications safely and following regulatory protocols.
Provide customer service by helping patients locate products or referring them to the pharmacist for further consultation.
Operate pharmacy software and maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
