What you'll do:
Collaborate with pharmacist in product release with the pharmacist reviewing the prescription and patient record.
Conduct product verification (quickly and accurately) on all compliance packs and vials prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness of all prescription orders prior to delivery
Use the Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machinexc2xae (VBM) and Parata MAX Software to verify weekly compliance packs as well as vials for SDM stores
Prepare compliance packs and vials for delivery
Work with Pharmacy Assistant for accurate dispensing
Ensure proper storage, handling, disposal of drugs and return to stock procedure in accordance with SOPs
What you bring:
Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT), in good standing
Liability insurance to legally practice as a RPhT
A minimum of 1 year of continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital, or Retail)
Experience with high volume filling environments is preferred
Experience working with Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machinexc2xae (VBM) and Parata MAX is an asset
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Attention to detail
Complete work with minimal supervision
Teammate and Leadership skills
