Job Description

We are established pharmacy and independent pharmacy in Mississauga and are looking for a friendly, motivate Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

Approximately 40++ hours per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

oData entry of patient care information into Fillware oMaintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems oHandling customer prescription pick-up Your duties will consist of; the dispensing and distribution of medications. Must be confident in performing independent technical checks of prescription orders Customer service Managing pharmacy assistants Creating schedule Ensuring orders are completing within target time frame Maintaining a high standard of privacy and quality assurance Other duties as assigned oAssisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy. oPatient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent oral and written English & Arabic communication skills Currently licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Retail pharmacy experience preferred Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians preferred Excellent oral, interpersonal and written skills Computer experience preferred Ability to work independently Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record Experience in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile products preferred experience with Fillware software at least 3-4 years Minimum 2 year of Experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician Excellent organizational skills and attention to details Demonstrated customer service experience Strong motivation to succeed Proficient computer/data/entry skills
