Job Summary

We are looking for a

dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician

to join our team. In this vital role, you will support daily pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism will directly contribute to the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist. Type prescriptions and accept verbal orders from prescribers in accordance with regulations. Perform technical checks on prepared prescriptions to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient records. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care plans. Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, legal requirements, and professional standards. Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing prescription refills.

Qualifications

Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in Canada is required. Strong knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare providers. High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to patient care and continuous improvement.
