POSITION: PEDIATRIC NURSE

CarePartners is one of the largest home health care providers in Ontario and provides services for all 14 Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS) and for patients and caregivers across Ontario in homes, schools, clinics, retirement homes and long-term care facilities.

We are looking for an RN or RPN who may be able to help out a family in need in the Collingwood area with caring for a 3-month old baby. Experience in pediatrics would be ideal but training can be provided, including a FREE training course through Sick Kids (virtual training is available).

Hours of work are nights (8-hour shifts) 11pm-7am.

YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT BY:

  • Using your professional assessment skills to perform a holistic assessment of each patient to identify needs
  • Developing appropriate time-specific, measurable goals and outcomes in collaboration with the patient, caregiver(s), while keeping with the HCCSS goals for treatment
  • Being a member of a nursing team who is accountable for the nursing care it provides
  • Having a high level of commitment to quality, accurate and forward-thinking care
YOU BRING:
  • RN or RPN designation
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
  • Trach, g-tube and/or pediatric experience is ideal but is NOT required
  • Ability to commit to 1x shift a week as a minimum, additional shifts are available
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Current immunization record (within last 12 months)
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
