DUTIES
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient clinical signs and symptoms.
- Assist in emergency medical procedures as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nova Scotia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN.
- Proficient in medical terminology and case management.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Epic.
- Experience in providing specialized care is an asset.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, should be able to communicate in English.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
