Temporary (1-Year Maternity Leave Coverage with Potential for Full-Time Opportunity)

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a one-year maternity leave coverage, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position after the leave period.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with Surgical Procedures

: Support the oral surgeons in the preparation and execution of oral surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Patient Monitoring

: Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after surgery. Administer necessary medications, including sedation and pain management under the direction of the oral surgeon.

Patient Education

: Provide post-operative care instructions and ensure patients understand recovery protocols.

Infection Control

: Maintain a sterile and safe environment, adhering to all infection control standards.

Documentation

: Accurately document patient history, medication administration, and procedural notes in the medical records system.

Collaborate with Team

: Work closely with oral surgeons, dental assistants, and office staff to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.

Qualifications:

Current RN License

: Active Registered Nurse license.

Experience in Surgery

(Preferred, but not required): While experience in oral or surgical settings is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate who is passionate about surgery and patient care.

Strong Communication Skills

: Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Compassionate and Detail-Oriented

: A caring demeanor with a strong attention to detail and patient safety.

Certifications

: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required along with PALS and ACLS

Pay: From $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
