We currently have a Regular Part-Time (0.6 FTE) opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Veterans Centre \xe2\x80\x93 K1W Unit at our Bayview campus.

Hours of Work:

Weekdays & Alternating Weekends: Days, Evenings; 8 hrs; As per schedule

Statutory Holidays Required

Summary of Duties

The RN is responsible for the total care of a group of residents within a primary nursing care delivery model. The RN supports the Philosophy of Patient-Focused Care concept and principles and the Mission and Values of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. The RN works closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications/Skills

• Current Ontario Registration
• Current B.C.L.S.
• Patient and family focused care philosophy required
• Previous experience working in a Geriatric setting
• Ability to function in an interdisciplinary setting as a primary nurse
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent assessment skills
• Team-player
• Computer skills required
