Maple Manor Nursing Home in Tillsonburg ON is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) that is passionate about nursing with experience in long term care to help fill a temporary line

SHIFTS AVAILABLE

TEMPORARY Fulltime - Nights 10pm-6am - there is a possibility this could turn to permanent Additional hours available through call-in procedure

WHAT WE OFFER

Up to $54.13/hr depending on proof of experience While in a temporary line, once probation is achieved, you will receive an additional $0.25/hr in lieu of extended health care Employee and Family Assistance Program Life Insurance Matched Pension 4% Paid Sick Days

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum 2 years of Long Term Care experience an asset Must have a sincere interest in people, the elderly in particular, and possess a genuine sensitivity to their needs Excellent assessment skills and a strong clinical background Exceptional interpersonal skills Able to cope with physical and emotional demands of the job Punctual and reliable
IMPORTANT - This is an immediate start so you must already have a current Vulnerable Sector Check, verification of education and proof of 2 step TB test within the last six months.

ABOUT MAPLE MANOR

Maple Manor Nursing Home, locally owned and operated, is a long-term care facility located in the downtown core of Tillsonburg Ontario. As such it is in close proximity to many churches, stores, doctors' offices and our local hospital. The home is licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and is Accredited through the Person-Centred Long Term Care Community Standards of CARF Canada. The Home is a 103-bed, smoke free facility offering private, semi-private and ward accommodations. In addition, Maple Manor has four temporary licenses for Interim Long-Term Care Home beds through the Aging at Home program. These beds provide a location for residents who would otherwise be kept in hospital while awaiting placement into a Long-Term Care facility.

The Home's philosophy of care is centered on nurturing the human spirit. As such, we pledge to meet the individual needs of the clients using a resident-centered focus. Care and services for the residents are provided holistically such that their physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs are met to the best of our abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $54.13 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.50 per week
