Job Summary

What you'll do

Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options. Monitor vital signs, perform diagnostic evaluations, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions. Assist with procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, suturing, and wound care while adhering to aseptic techniques. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of medical documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and promote best practices.

Basic qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the applicable state. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine. Familiarity with specialized treatments including botulinum toxin administration or esthetic laser treatment. Background in geriatrics or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
