Alivia Medical Inc. is currently looking for reliable, compassionate, & skilled Registered Nurses to join our growing team to work in a Detention Centre in Thorold. Available to work

night shifts /day shifts

. Must have two years experience as RN and this is a full time position only apply if you are welling to do 12 hours shift 4 to 5 times a week.

Candidates must have:

Graduated from an accredited nursing program Current registration with the provincial licensing body in good standing Current CPR and First Aid Certificate Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English A valid provincial driver's license and access to a vehicle Cell phone, access to a computer & internet Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check within 6 months Health clearance (immunizations, TB test) Flexible availability weekdays and some weekends Previous employment experience in healthcare is an asset

2 years experience being a nurse minimum

In this role you will:

Conduct health assessments for the purposes of triage and on-going care Plan for and provide health care treatment Monitor adherence to treatment plans and response to health care interventions Liaise with community care providers to obtain health histories and to facilitate transitional care at discharge for both remand and intermittent inmates Participate in case management Work collaboratively as a member of the inter-professional team to develop, implement and evaluate patient-specific plans of care
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
