Location: Point Grey Private Hospital - Vancouver, BC



We are currently seeking

Registered Nurses (RNs)

to join our care team at

Point Grey Private Hospital

, located in Vancouver's beautiful

Kitsilano

community.



About Point Grey Private Hospital



Point Grey Private Hospital is a modern, purpose-built long-term care home offering

153 licensed residential care beds

, primarily in

private rooms

. Renovated and expanded in 2020, this four-story home features large windows, ocean and mountain views, and a comfortable, homelike atmosphere with dining and recreation areas and spacious outdoor patios on each floor.



What You'll Do



As a Registered Nurse, you will take a

leadership role in resident care

, ensuring quality clinical outcomes while fostering a supportive and safe environment. Key responsibilities include:Coordinating

resident admissions, transfers, and discharges

Completing

resident assessments and individualized care plans

Administering

medications, treatments, and wound care

Using

PointClickCare

and other electronic systems for documentation, including

MDS assessments

Communicating with

physicians, families

, and interdisciplinary care teams Delegating tasks to

unregulated care providers

(HCAs) Assuming

Charge Nurse duties

, including overseeing care delivery and ensuring team collaboration Participating in

Care Conferences and Medication Reviews




What You Bring

Active registration as a

Registered Nurse (RN)

in good standing with

BCCNM

Current

CPR and First Aid certification

Proficiency in electronic documentation systems

, including eMAR Strong

English communication skills

, both written and verbal Demonstrated

critical thinking

and

clinical decision-making

skills Previous

long-term care experience

(preferred)

COVID-19 vaccination certificate
