Position Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current registration with the College Nurses of Ontario required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required Cardiac Interpretation skills required Certification in venipuncture and IV initiation PACU course and recent experience an asset Demonstrated clinical expertise and 5 years of recent experience in surgical nursing, both pre, post general anesthetic and post-op Previous critical care nursing an asset A good attendance and work record demonstrating reliability and dependability is essential A resume regarding further education, special courses and experience should accompany the application

NOTE

: The successful applicant to this position will be cross-trained and may be scheduled to work in the Surgery Centre Pre/Post and Eye Clinic as scheduling needs and operational demands require.

HOURS OF WORK:

Rotating start times as per unit schedule. Days of operation Monday - Friday.

Shifts may be assigned at Charlton Campus if required.
