Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Care, NWHSDA, Central Cluster, the Site Coordinator position is responsible for the administration, oversight, coordination and evaluation of health service delivery at the Atlin Health Centre. The Site Coordinator provides leadership and direction to all departments within the facility and carries overall responsibility for staff and effectiveness of care. The Site Coordinator provides direct patient care as required. This position practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and core competencies for Remote Certified nursing and code of ethics as outlined by the BBC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).



Shift Rotation/Hours of work:

: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:30 to 16:30



Atlin Health Centre

provides health care services on a walk-in basis. 3-4 Doctor Clinics held each month with visiting Yukon physicians. They have lab services as well as a visiting Physiotherapist from the Yukon.

Qualifications




Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. Three years recent related clinical experience and three years recent related management experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable to the facility.
