Job Title: Registered NurseMust have a minimum of 1-2 years (3+ preferred) of PEDI ER.Location: Southern California
Several facilities and locations throughout Southern California. A variety of sizes of hospitals/facilities in several cities, towns and remote locations.Unit(s): PEDI ER**Please note: Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to sponsor non-Canadians for immigration to the USA. Canadian citizens who hold a Canadian passport are eligible for work authorization in the USA through the USMCA Free Trade Agreement.If you are a PR in Canada, please contact us once you have received your Canadian passport and we will be happy to help you.Position Summary:As a Registered Nurse you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality patient care. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the unit. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians to develop and implement care plans. Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills are essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Job Status:Full time 36 or 40 hr/week

8, 10 or 12 hr shifts depending on facility and unitKey Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.Recognize changes in patient status and take appropriate interventionsCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.Provide education and support to patients and their families.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.Requirements:Current Canadian passport, USA passport or Green Card
Current registered nurse (RN) license in Canada or USA
Current VisaScreen Certificate (apply at www.cgfns.org)
Passed NCLEX-RNBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.BLSACLS, NRP, EFM, TNCC, ECG certs depending on unitMinimum 1-2 years of current clinical nursing experience as PICU.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Benefits:Medical/Dental Plans
