Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment to patients, staff and visitors.At Grand River Hospital, our OR, Registered Nurses (RNs):xc2xb7 Current registration and in good standings with the College of Nurses of Ontarioxc2xb7 2 years of Operating Room experience preferredxc2xb7 Perioperative Certification preferredxc2xb7 Accredited Operating Room Course requiredxc2xb7 Familiar with Operating Room Workload Measurementxc2xb7 Familiar with standards, policies, procedures and physician protocols for the Operating Roomxc2xb7 Familiar with care of the perioperative patients of all agesxc2xb7 CPR certification requiredxc2xb7 Can meet physical demands of standing, lifting and being on callxc2xb7 Ability to deal with physiologically/psychosocially stressed patients in an active, high turnover areaxc2xb7 Strong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills required to interact with patients, health professionals, other service providers and families essentialxc2xb7 Good attendance record requiredAt Grand River Hospital we support our Team Members with:
