As a Registered Nurse, you bring reassurance and high-quality care to clients and their families. Working closely with your Care Designer, you help design care experiences that meet client goals with professionalism and empathy.

Duties and Responsibilities



Deliver Happier Aging by providing personalized, client-focused care in homes and community settings. Take full ownership of the client journey, ensuring peace of mind for families in alignment with our Brand Promise. Conduct comprehensive nursing care and assessments within your scope of practice, guided by the Code of Conduct. Maintain proactive communication with your Care Designer, identifying ways to elevate the care experience. Respond promptly to scheduling inquiries from the Care Services Center (CSC) within required timelines. Practice competently and safely within your professional expertise and knowledge. Represent Nurse Next Door with integrity and compassion in the community. Use digital tools (phone, apps, and email) effectively for communication and accurate care documentation.

Availability



Flexibility required - roles available on a casual, part-time, or full-time basis

Requirements



Two positive professional references Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and valid certification At least 1 year of RN experience (home care experience an asset) Ability to travel independently to client visits Valid CPR and First Aid certification Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Availability to work flexible hours -- mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight, as care is provided 24/7

Qualifications



Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Bachelor of Nursing (BN) from a CNO-recognized institution Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Valid Certificate of Registration from the CNO Current CPR and First Aid certification Valid driver's license
Experience Requirements:

Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Calendar) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organization, planning, multitasking, and time-management skills Customer service or leadership background is considered an asset Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening Negative TB test required
